Bronny James Declares for NBA Draft

After One Season at USC, James Prepares for Professional Debut

142 Points, 55 Rebounds, 24 Assists, and 18 Steals As a Senior

Los Angeles, CA (AP) - Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron James, has declared for the NBA draft after one season at the University of Southern California. The 6'3" guard/forward averaged an impressive 142 points, 55 rebounds, 24 assists, and 18 steals per game as a senior for Sierra Canyon School in California.

James, who is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in this year's draft, helped lead Sierra Canyon to a state championship during his senior year. He was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year and was selected as a McDonald's All-American.

James' decision to enter the draft comes after a shortened season at USC. He missed the first 10 games of the season while recovering from knee surgery. In 16 games played, James averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

James' father, LeBron James, is a four-time NBA champion and 19-time All-Star. Many experts believe that Bronny James has the potential to follow in his father's footsteps and become a star in the NBA.
